As summer approaches, I am getting ready to start my hibernation. I will privately enjoy the Summer Ski Jumping Grand Prix, but from the comfort of my den.
But there is some more time till then, there’s still some evil ready to be done.
Who should be next in my list?
and think about the unthinkable magic this ski jumping season has brought us.
Yes, of course I wished Andi Kofler would be the best. I have been hoping this for many years. But did I expect it? No. It’s not because I don’t think he’s a good jumper - he’s my favourite, I think he’s an excellent jumper - but you just don’t expect an athlete over 25 to suddenly rise up in performance. This is very admirable!
Last year was a good year for him as well, but this year is just fantastic!
He already won 5 out of 10 competitions, he could still win the Four Hills Tournament and it’s likely he’ll win the world cup.
I am extremely pleased!
